The Noa Eshkol Archive encompasses Eshkol’s estate in its entirety. It is organized by thematic divisions including all materials related to the formation of Eshkol-Wachman Movement Notation (EWMN), a unique and original Israeli invention. It documents the notation’s stages of development since its inception in the late 1940s until today.
The archive includes: drawings, movement and dance scores, still photographs, posters, films and videos, work journals, compositional notation studies, books and manuscripts, correspondences, lesson plans, and more.
In 2012, the Noa Eshkol Foundation for Movement Notation initiated the conservation and digitization of the archive as part of its responsibility to preserve Noa Eshkol’s legacy.
